The Logitech Circle Home Security Camera was released on the market on October 18, 2015. The Camera supports two-way communication, 1080p live-stream video feed, instant event alerts, free cloud storage and recording, with playback and 30-second timelapse Day Brief from the last 24-hours. What makes the camera so unique is it can be detached from the charging ring for up to 12-hours (when on the save mode) and transported from room to room.
On Tuesday, Logitech introduced a variety of security features, including Motion Zones, Person Detection and timelapse Day Brief from the past day, week or month. All of these features are available through an exclusive Circle Safe premium subscription plan. The basic subscription plan offers custom alerts and video storage up to 14 days for $3.99 monthly per each camera.

The Person Detection feature will initiate a Smart alert every time the Logitech Circle detects movement in the home, when you are away. To weed out false alarms, the camera can differentiate between a pet and human. An instant notification will be transmitted to the user’s app-enabled device.
By accessing the Logitech Circle app user interface, the user can configure five primary motion zones, so the camera will record based on motion detection only in those areas.
As mentioned above, the Circle cam offers timelapse day brief from the last 24-hours. Logitech enhanced this feature, by providing the user with a variety of customization options, alter the length of any video recording and create recaps from the past day, week or month.
The Logitech Circle includes 24-hours of free cloud storage, but users will now have the option of upgrading to the basic plan, offering 14-days of cloud storage or the premium plan, which offers 31-days of cloud storage. The premium subscription plans start at $9.99 monthly per each camera.
